Hami Nepali Global Unveils New Leadership at 3rd International Convention

Kathmandu, Nepal – December 6, 2025 – The Hami Nepali Global (HNG) organization successfully concluded its 3rd International Convention at the Rastriya Naachghar in Jamal, Kathmandu, on Saturday. The convention marked the formal announcement of the organization’s new leadership structure, including its Executive Committee, Board of Directors (BODs), Ambassadors, Chapter Counselors, Sub-Chapter Counselors, and Department Directors for the 2025-2028 term.

The grand event, attended by prominent figures and members of the Nepali diaspora from around the world, was graced by Minister Kulman Ghising as the Chief Guest; with notable political figure Mr. Gyanendra Shahi attending as a Special Guest.


New Leadership to Steer HNG’s Global Vision

The convention introduced the new team responsible for leading the non-political, non-ethnic, and non-religious organization, which aims to unite and support the Nepali community globally.

The new structure also includes a dynamic Board of Directors, a team of Ambassadors, and an extensive network of Chapter and Sub-Chapter Counselors across numerous countries, alongside a robust team of Department Directors focusing on areas like Law, Health, Education, Finance, and Youth Coordination.


President Lama on HNG’s Formation and Mission

In his address, Hami Nepali Global President Amrit Lama focused on the organization’s roots and purpose. He provided a detailed account of how HNG was formed, alongside a brief introduction to its mission, which was complemented by compelling visual clips showcasing the organization’s work.

“Hami Nepali Global was established with the sole intention of tying all the Nepalese together in a single garland from around the world,” stated President Lama, emphasizing unity and collective social responsibility.


Honoring Contributions: Media, Youth, and Sub-Chapter Presidents

A major segment of the convention was dedicated to acknowledging and appreciating individuals who have made significant contributions to the community and media landscape:

Sub-Chapter Presidents Honored: All Sub-Chapter Presidents from Nepal were collectively honored with a Certificate of Appreciation for their grassroots dedication and service.

Media Persons Recognized: Five prominent media persons were presented with Certificates of Appreciation for their impactful work in the Nepali media:

Birendra Jairu (News 24)

Ramesh Bharati (Mulpatra)

Dinesh Gautam (Online Khabar)

Anil Adhikari (Sajha Sawal)

Youth Honored: Ashika Tamang was also recognized with a Certificate of Appreciation for her notable contributions to the community.

The convention also served as the venue for presenting the remaining awards for the prestigious Hami Nepali Global Hero Award 2025, an event that was initially held in New York in July 2025. The following personalities were officially awarded for their remarkable achievements:
